Einasto / Sersic profile for gasous component in the center

Assuming a Einasto profile for the gasous component midway between two giant elliptical galaxies, the mass distribution for the Einasto profile is shown here:

The Sersic is here:

The total mass for these two components are essentially the same. Although the peak of these two profiles showing some difference, the shape of the "bridge" is similar.

The difference in the peak between the two profile could be due to the lack of lensing constraints nearby
