I have successfully conducted two more HI observations on NGC5044 using GBT.

Previously, I have conducted two HI obs on NGC 5044 already

This is the on- off result from two hours on source time, without removing the baseline resulted from the electronics.

It seems to suggest an emission at -ve velocity and absorption at +ve (from 0 -400km/s) velocity.

Since the shape of baseline would affect the result, we shifted the center frequency to 1.435GHz and conducted two more observations, totalled 1.5 hours on source

Now, only the absorption feature remains ( 0 point is in 5900km/s for x axis)

Consequently, the absorption feature from 0 to 400km/s is significant as it present in all 4 observations. The emission feature at -ve velocity requires further investigation and a robust subtraction of baseline.
